About us
Distilling in the Nilgiris since 1980.
Trade India Exports cultivates, distils and exports pure essential oils from the hills of South India. Our UK company brings them direct to British buyers.
From one still in Ooty to UK buyers
It began in 1980 with a single distillation unit in Ooty. Today the business supplies manufacturers, formulators and aromatherapists in India and abroad.
In 2025 we established Trade India Exports UK Ltd in London, so UK customers can buy direct from the distiller, without middlemen, in anything from a 500ml bottle to a 200kg drum.
Every batch is traced from the field to the shipment, and every consignment is supplied with its Certificate of Analysis.
